door county weekend

We spent a long weekend in Door County as a family, and it was such a welcome reprieve from the construction at home, Matt's hectic work schedule, and busy summer happenings. We stopped at The Farm to see all the animals (Augie fed the baby goats a bottle), biked through Peninsula State Park, hiked on the Sentinel Trail to Mom's special tree, climbed up the tower, took a horse and carriage ride, ate pancakes at Al's, played on the beach in Ephraim, and mostly just relaxed!

Augie and Matt on the Sentinel Trail in Peninsula State Park

Augie climbs Sal's Tree with a little help from Daddy.

Our thirsty hiker.

My sweet boy.

A new fav spot in Sister Bay for fresh, local goat cheese, wine and gelato.

Augie's most favorite activity, rock throwing.

Barney the horse gave us a ride around Ephraim, Augie loved him!

Ephraim Beach, fun to take Augie to a place where I spent so much time as a little girl.

We stayed at The Lodgings at Pioneer Lane in Ephram and it was perfect for us - walking distance to everything!
