back on the horse...

...well a pony at least (since we now have a baby I suppose I too must take baby steps). August is a bit more consistent with naps these days and happy to kick around independently for small spurts of time. This means that mama can get a few projects moving - it's amazing what one can do in 15 precious minutes. This is my first attempt at sewing a basic slipcover but it went surprisingly well. Also took off the original wooden base, so I stained some new feet and added them to the bottom.
